Homecoming 2009

Lauren had her homecoming last night. She and her friend, Alex, went together. They got ready at Alex's house this year so I didn't have any hair emergencies like last year. They did stop by here first so we could get photos. They had a lot of fun, of course, and looked beautiful... and a little too grown up. Where is time going?!

Apparently in Alex's family they have the "dorky" photo tradition, so who was I to stop that? Maybe we will start it too.

Unfortunately though, the festivities surrounding homecoming didn't go as well. The bonfire on Thursday was rained out and they lost their homecoming game. But the girls weren't too disappointed... especially since it ended on a fun note with the dance.
